Over the last decade I have studied five modern languages and three ancient languages with over a hundred teachers in universities and language institutes worldwide. In my estimation Jordash possesses extraordinary language teaching abilities that I have only seen equalled by a select few of my very best teachers with decades of experience. Jordash literally breathes out Koine Greek, and as you learn interactively with him you’ll find the Koine tongue coming alive in your soul. His energy and passion are contagious! 

Learning with Jordash gave me an invaluable foundation for my work in translating the scriptures for a minority language group. The biggest takeaway has been my ability to quickly read and understand paragraphs on end. In my job as a translator I find it invaluable to be able to glance at the source text and work on the target language without having to spend a long time parsing or pulling out dictionaries. 

As a beginner the fun stories gave a lot of repetition of prime frequency vocabulary which helped me to deeply internalize them in their various parsings. Every language has its irregularities especially in the most used words (e.g. English past tense “went” being completely different from “go”). Each lesson presented material in bite-sized chunks and included practice handouts that were very helpful for mastering the various tenses and their conjugations.

After completing the intermediate course I found that my ease in reading the Gospels had greatly increased. I found myself opening my Greek NT every day for devotions with much enjoyment.
