We teach Greek in Greek. It’s fun. It’s very effective. And it helps transform the lives of Jesus’ followers.
Anyone can learn to read the New Testament in its original language! Learning ancient Greek doesn’t have to be scary. When taught right, a Greek course is in fact immensely enjoyable. At OMIΛEIN, we take proven methods for teaching modern languages and apply them to teaching the Greek of the Bible. The focus is on communication, using Greek to engage in meaningful interactions of listening and speech, reading and writing. By using the target language as the language of communication, students are able to focus more on the actual content of what they are reading in the New Testament, with grammar and the like taking their proper, secondary place. And, as students hear the Scriptures in high definition, in the original language, and obey, this leads to transformed lives.
